Legacy Set To Open March 25th

The Legacy will be open for play on Wednesday, March 25th.  We do have precautions and safety measures put into place. We would ask that all players review these policies prior to reserving a tee time. Some of those measures are listed below.

• Clubhouse will only be open for use of the restrooms (which will be sanitized hourly). No more than 10 people at a time will be allowed in.
• Check-in along with food and beverage sales will be completed outdoors.
• No Cash. We will only be accepting credit/debit cards and they must be placed on file when making a tee time. We will not be handling credit/debit cards during this time. 
• We are encouraging walking. We do not have nearly enough pull carts for everyone.
• Only one (1) golfer will be allowed in each golf cart to encourage social distancing, unless family members or approved by Legacy. Please note there could be a shortage of golf carts throughout the day as we will more than likely not have enough carts to accommodate all players.
• Due to the recent rain, golf carts will be restriced to the cart paths. With the recent closures of gyms and heathclubs, The Legacy is strongly encouraging walking.
• The driving range will be closed until further notice.
• Since we are practicing social distancing, we ask that you leave the golf course immediately following your round.

More Consistent Conditions At The Legacy

We are continually working to make the conditions at The Legacy as consistent as we can.  There are many factors that go into achieving this consistency.  One of the ways to do this has to do with equipment.  We have purchased a new fleet of Jacobsen tees, greens, fairway and rough mowers.

Couples Twilight

Course Weather Update

The forecast for the remainder of the week is not cooperating.  It looks like a couple days of rain followed by some cold temperatures.  With the poor weather the golf course and driving range will be closed through at least Saturday, March 21st.  We will continue to monitor the forecast and will update our customers in the future.

Letter To Legacy Customers

To our valued Legacy customers,

With the recent news and events surrounding the Corona Virus (COVID-19) pandemic we are taking every possible precaution to protect the health of our customers and our team. This is a constantly changing situation and from the onset we have been listening closely to the appropriate sources for accurate and up-to-date information. We have immediately implemented extra precautionary steps and an action plan to help prevent the spread of this virus by doing the following:

• Golf Cart staff will clean and sanitize steering wheels, seats, side handrails, GPS monitor and contact points to all golf carts prior to customer use.
• All food/beverage staff will sanitize table-tops, bar-tops, salt/pepper shakers, condiments and guest contact areas on a regular basis.
• Golf Shop staff will clean and sanitize the check-in counter, entrance doors and guest contact areas. 
• We will be keeping doors propped open whenever possible to reduce the number of people touching these areas.
• Golf course water coolers will not be available on the course at this time.
• Ball washers will be regularly sanitized and wiped down throughout the day. 

We still believe that a golf course remains one of your safest entertainment options during this time of unprecedented news and worldwide concern.  We sincerely thank you for your past patronage and we look forward to your continued support.  Our goal will continue to be providing you with quality experiences, service and safety.

Course Update

Pace Of Play

The Legacy believes that if we provide great course conditions and an enjoyable experience, customers will notice and in turn come back on a regular basis.  An integral part of this has to do with their time on the course.  Whether you are the first tee time of the day or prefer to hit the links later in the afternoon,  all golfers should play at the same pace.

In 2019 we instituted our Pace of Play Policy of 4 hours 15 minutes or less.  The response from the majority of our customers was well received and the result was happier golfers.  Thank you to all of our customers who help us improve pace of play and make golf more enjoyable.
