Here is our current plan regarding the course being open.  Of course, this is all subject to change based upon the weather.  We will be closed on Monday, March 2nd due to cold temperatures.  Beginning Tuesday, March 3rd through Sunday, March 8th we will be open for play.

• Carts will continue to be restricted to the paths only
• Driving range will remain closed
• Tee times can be made ONLINE or by calling 515-287-7885 x2.

How Long Will We Remain Open?

New To The Legacy In 2020

The Legacy purchased a new cart fleet at the end of last year and there have been some significant upgrades. The new fleet is made up of 70 Grey and 5 Maroon Club Car Tempo Golf Carts. Some of the new features include Premium Leather Seating, USB Ports, Bluetooth Speakers, and a new Visage GPS System.

So comfy you almost won’t want to get out to hit.

Tee Times Nearly Gone

The weekend tee sheet is almost full.  We have an 18 hole tee time left on Sunday at 10:51am.  There will be some 9 hole tee times available after 3pm on both Saturday and Sunday.  It is shaping up to be a fantastic weekend.

Legacy Is Set To Open

We were fortunate to play golf in January and now the same can be said for February.  The Legacy will be open for play on Saturday, February 29th & Sunday, March 1st.  If the weather allows, we will continue to stay open.  These decisions will be made on a daily basis and then announced on social media.  Here are additional details.

• We will be utilizing a #1 & #10 tee start from 10:30am-12:30pm.
• Golf carts will be restricted to the paths for the foreseeable future.
• Although some bunkers, fairways, and shaded areas may have some snow, the tees and greens are clear.
• Range is closed for extended period.
• When reserving tee times please base on actual number of golfers.  Groups of less than 4 will be paired up.

Couples Twilight Events Are On The Schedule

As the 2020 golf season draws closer, we are excited to let our customers know of what they can look forward to on their first visit.  We are continually investing into the golf course with the goal of ALWAYS improving conditions.  These improvements do not always happen overnight.  However, most of our customer will notice on the practice green as we purchased all new mowers for tees, greens, fairways and roughs.
